Privacy Policy

TM Telcomm built the CallMax app as a free application. This Service is provided by TM Telcomm at no cost and is intended for use as-is.

This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if anyone decides to use our Service.

CallMax is designed for use with TM Telcomm’s communication services and PBX platforms. It provides calling, messaging, and collaboration features for users. By choosing to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We do not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

CallMax processes various types of information as part of its normal functionality. This includes both personal and non-personal data:

  • Personal Information – Includes names, contact details, and extension info linked to your CallMax user account, necessary for PBX administration and communication functionality.
  • Extension Information – Collected when using features like password reset (extension number, email, device/domain, etc.) to assist in account recovery.
  • Device Sensors – Sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, magnetic field sensor, and ambient light sensor may be accessed to improve login, call, and video call experience.
  • Camera and Microphone – Used with your consent for features such as video calling, voice communication, and sending media.
  • WiFi Signal Strength – Collected to improve audio/video performance in unstable networks.
  • Call Detail Records (CDRs) – Includes source/destination name, numbers, IP addresses, and other call metadata.
  • Device Identifiers – Unique identifiers help recognize your device for service optimization or issue resolution.
  • Local Contacts – With your permission, CallMax may access your local phonebook to enable contact lookup and calling.
  • Call Recordings – If enabled, recordings include both parties’ numbers, IP address, and voice content. Users can opt in or out and are notified where required.
  • Voicemail – Includes audio messages and caller details. This feature can be disabled if preferred.
  • Conferencing – Includes participant names, phone numbers, and any recorded audio if call recording is enabled.
  • Instant Messaging (IM) – Includes messages and media sent using CallMax’s IM service. Media access requires consent for camera, microphone, or photo album use.
  • Third-party SDKs – Certain SDKs (e.g., for single sign-on or diagnostics) may request limited access to installed software or device info, subject to their respective privacy policies.
